Jon Marti Signs Again

January 17, 2006

WARREN, PA — Jon a.k.a. Jonno Marti has announced that he will be the 29th player to commit to the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship, slated for June 8 in Clayton, NC. Naturally, a few Captains Club members accompanied Marti to the press conference.

Jonno joins Chris Lashley a.k.a. Macho Stallion as the tournament law staff.

Marti has a sketchy past with the Carl Spackler Open Championship, as he had to drop out of the 2005 tournament due to an eleventh-hour Kitchen Pass emergency. Adding to his woes, he has unable to put together an impressive round in 2005 Virtual Tournament.

Donno finished the Virtual Tournament in 61st position with 32.5 points per round.

"My memory of golf is not very delightful," says Donno. "Make no mistake. I am looking forward to my first major championship and the field of players. I do not plan to wear the Carl Spackler Outfit."

Marti signs as the 30th player and 2nd rookie. The 2006 Carl Spackler Open begins in 141 days.
