Ohio Field Finalized

February 1, 2006

DUBLIN, OH — Matt Pritchard and Jeff Miller both signed to play in the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship in late-December. They signed and complete the field of 15 golfers to represent Ohio.

Pritchard, who narrowly missed the 2004 Al Czverik and Carl Spackler Outfit, returns for his 3rd major championship. Jeff Miller returns after a very quiet rookie season at Mountain Valley.

"Glad to be back," says Jeff Miller. "There is no way that I planned to miss this event."

Matt Pritchard, who has been mocked regarding his length off the tee in past seasons, has been working out in the weight room and added 20 yards to his driver.

"My game is very on track," says Pritchard. "Particularly my driver. I feel comfortable that most par 4's can be reached this year. I have never felt so confident in my 220 yard drives."

Miller and Pritchard sign as the 37th and 38th members of the tournament field. Ohio represents the largest portion of the pie for the 6th straight year. The state of Virginia has 9 golfers.
