SMYRNA, GA — The Captains Club ensured a bright future for the Carl Spackler Open in December after a Brad Simon national letter of intent was received. As a rookie, Brad could very well make an impact by scaring the field.

Simon, a close friend of Chet Munksgard, has recently released a head shot photo with an aggressive game face that should scare some of the field. "I am extremely excited about this year's recruiting and rookie class," Chet Munksgard said. "My rookie has lots of beer drinking experience to add. Brad's experience speaks volumes about his ability to perform, and he will be a great addition to the tournament. This is great for the Open Championship and to the phenomenal field of golfers."

Brad will be busy this spring posting the required 4 scorecards by all rookies.

"The thing I've been most pleased about is how Chet handled his fame from Mountain Valley," Simon said. "I just hope, if given the chance, I can dominate the tournament with so much charisma."

Simon has not been attracting media attention since registration back in December. It appears his game or bully head shot photo is not scaring off anyone. Simon signs as the 10th rookie and represents the state of Georgia. Stay tuned.
