GALLOWAY, OH — Jason Watson hopes he and Greg Garrett can resume their successful golf at Golfapalooza this week, even though they have struggled somewhat for form for much of this season.

"Garrett is a good friend of mine and I think we make a good team together," Watson said on Monday as he prepared for the opening round of this week's Golfapalooza Championship at Alpine Lake Resort in Terra Alta, WV.

"We'll see how everything feels this week, but I hope so (that Garrett and I play together).  It's something we'll have to look at this week -- see how Garrett is feeling, see how I'm feeling and see what happens," said the 29-year-old.

"I haven't talked to him (Garrett) lately.  I saw him at the Carl Spackler Open back in April and that's pretty much it.  But Golfapalooza is a different tournament.  It's tournament-style with alcohol and so many different things can happen this week."

Jason has been playing somewhat well considering his 4 rounds of golf published this summer.  Greg Garrett on the other hand has posted scores as low as 76 just recently.  "I really like my NOOG points for this major championship.  My birdies can give me a chance for the $260 first place prize.  That doesn't include the tournament experience that will help for the 2003 Carl Spackler Open.
