WARREN, PA — John Dick was available this week to hold a press conference regarding tournament leaderboards. He was feeling great and wanted to happily announce on behalf of the Captains Club, the 2001-2005 Carl Spackler Open Championship Leaderboards, Player Points and Awards are now available online.

"After nearly a 6-month delay, the boards are up and available online," said Dick. "I can see my dominating rounds at Thunder Hill. That was a great year."

The Leaderboard information accompanies handicapping and individual player scorecards for each event since 2001. "Everyone should also see my incredible approach shot in 2004. It was of course a hole-out on the final hole."

Other notable scorecards are:

(1) Chuck Long's 39-62 at Mountain Valley during Round 2 play.

(2) Steve Hoden's triple birdie final round to win the 2004 Major Championship.

(3) Jeremy Myers pair of 18 strokes on Hole 18 in 2002. The scoring system only takes 15 strokes per hole.

(4) Jon Munksgard's 98 strokes on the back nine in 2003. Plus Kyle Marti's and Shawn Long's 85+ on the back nine.

(5) Kevin Long, Jr.'s eagle at Mountain Valley during Round 1 play. It remains the only eagle in major championship history.

(6) Matt Davis' career round of 4-over par with a triple bogey on last hole of Round 2 in June 2004.

"It's nice to have the scoring history back," says Dick. "Looking forward to another set of great numbers in 2006. Only hope these poor spring scores do not carry over into the Neuse."

The blank tournament leaderboard for 2006 is also available. There are 60 players scheduled to participate. Live Scoring begins on June 8 from Clayton, NC.
