Yardage Book Available

CLAYTON, NC — The 2006 Tournament Venue is one of the brightest spots in the 6th Major Championship. The Captains Club announced today the golf course yardage book is now available online.

"The tournament is getting close and notebooks are being purchased," said Mike Davis from his home in Warren, PA. "This is the start for me. Mapping out a plan of attack. Where to hit the ball, when to play driver and more importantly where not to hit the ball."

The yardage book is available by clicking on any hole number from the yardage book located on the event homepage. Each page of the yardage book along with pictures are available.

"We apologize for some of our photos," said Jeremy Myers. "Although this course is in incredible condition, our photos were taken when the bermuda grass was still dormant. Things are in top shape right now in Clayton."

Hole 15 is presently the hardest hole on the course for members of Poststats.com averaging 2.5-over par. Hole 6 and 17 are the easiest holes at 1.1-over par.

The 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship begins in just 20 days. Rooming assignments and pairings are complete, but will not be published for another week.
