Walters Falters

November 10, 2005

CLAYTON, NC — Grady Walters, aka G-Money, had no money left on Monday after shooting 56 points over a 36-hole period during his scouting trip to North Carolina.

"Walters definitely faltered," says buddy Don Creighton. "He really never got anything going and the double-digit 10 on Hole 9 was not impressive either."

Walters shot 67-60 = 127 at The Neuse on Saturday.  This type of score had many scared as the 2006 Carl Spackler Open stands to weed out the golfer at the top of their game.

"G-Money got plenty of man pop on Saturday night," says Matt Davis. "I did not seem to inspire him on Sunday."

Walters shot 57-62 = 119 strokes at a much easier Cotton Valley on Sunday.

Walters fell 8 spots in the 2005 Virtual Tournament where he completely owns 74th position.  He is averaging 31.6 points per round.

The 2005 Virtual Tournament ends in 50 days.  Jean Dore is expected to ride out a comfortable lead.
