CONCORD, OH — Chad Long dipped in the Virtual Tournament with a performance that he wishes he could forget. A performance that included slices, hooks, duffs, trees, bogeys and lots of sand. As well rounded it appeared, it did not include a par.

"Something was drastically wrong yesterday," said Long. "The 16 bonus points saved my ass for sure. Not one damn par."

Brothers Chad, Brian and Greg played Little Mountain Country Club just east of Cleveland, OH yesterday afternoon. The golf course is presently one of eighteen courses in Amercia with the prestigious Golf Digest 5 star ranking.

"This was a really nice course," said Chad Long. "It comes highly recommended and the greens are wonderful. The sand traps are very very deep with a nicely manicured 3-inch lip throughout."

Brother Greg Long was impressed with the greens. "The false fronts on the greens were very unique," said Slick. "I have not seen false fronts like these since Pinehurst. I had two shots that hit the green, stopped, and then ended up 10 yards off the front of the green."

Brian Long was haunted by the many 3-putts that continue to plague his game. The worst 3-putt came on the 18th hole where he needed it to save his first double-digit round of the year with a quadruple bogey.

The 6,616-yard course receives 16 points on the Poststats ranking system for difficulty. The par 70 is also highlighted by the 234-par 3 and three par 4 holes exceeding 471 yards including the wonderful 18th at 481 yards.

The Virtual Tournament moves into football season. The season-long event and posted scorecards are expected to drop considerably.
