Reustle Probable

LYNBROOK, NY — The Captains Club announced what they learned last week, the probable signing of Rob Reustle to the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship. A signing that would join an expected record number of participants at an undetermined location.

"As of now, Yes," said Reustle during a practice round in Ohio. "Looking forward to another great week."

Reustle's confident announcement verifies the strength of the Spackler tournament; an event without a venue.

"We are glad he is planning to attend," said Mike Davis. "It sounds like he is one of many that are not stupid."

Rob attended his first major championship just two months ago. He finished in a tie for 44th position.

"It was a scary week," said Reustle. "The 4-point practice round was terrible and unexpected. The round felt like triple, double, triple, triple, double, triple, double, double."

Reustle bogeyed just two holes during the optional practice round with zero long putts. He poured in one quadruple bogey and two bogeys. The rest of the holes were triple and double bogeys.

"Things improved during the opening round, but things were very stressful on Wednesday night," said Reustle. "I am sure everyone learns something at Spackler. I learned to be ready and not play games in May."

The 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship now moves into the venue voting season with an announcement scheduled for October 1. In other related news, the tournament and field remains in the Red Zone. Presently, there are zero reported menstral cycle interruptions.
