GROVE CITY, OH — The Grande Golf Club will host the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship. Rick Dosky announced the required tournament fee on behalf of the Captains Club on Sunday from his home south of Columbus, OH.

"The cost for the 54-hole tournament is once again extremely affordable," said Chief Financial Officer, Rick Dosky. "With group size, anything is possible. Our fee is very consistent with our last four years while adding services and entertainment year after year. I am very pleased with our budget and its flexibility."

The package includes range balls each day before play. It includes, but not limited to $3,000 in prizes and giveaways, 6 meals, 3 rounds with cart at Grande Golf Club and 4 nights at the Super 8 Hotel in Brooklyn, MI.

The entry fee will be $120 per player, which is non-refundable and reserves you a spot in the talented field of players. The winner's prize has not yet been determined, however overall prize budget has tripled from last year. Additional prizes will be awarded including the Golden Jacket, Horses Ass Trophy, Kitchen Pass Award and Championship Trophy.

"We are seizing a tremendous opportunity to increase the overall value of the tournament," said Dosky. "Once again, we have eliminated fees as a reason to skip the Spackler experience. I am very satisfied with this year's participant fee and the overall Carl Spackler Open budget."

The tournament has a cap of 88 golfers and all checks must be postmarked prior to December 28 to enter this major championship. Official commitments to the tournament will be added to the website field list. Checks can be mailed to Rick Dosky today. The official registration begins in 2 weeks.
