JACKSON, MI — The Captains Club announced the registration for the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship remains on schedule and begins today with a required non-refundable deposit of $120.00. The tournament also verified a financial cap of first 78 golfers to sign. The maximum cap is expected around 88 golfers.

"Let's get it on," said Mike Davis, Vice President of Tournament Security. "It's time to stop talking about Spackler and get out the check books. Remember we have a financial cap after the first 78 golfer signings."

The tournament details are open to the public and available online at carlspackleropen.com until December 28.

The 7th annual tournament is scheduled for play 1-mile south of Jackson, MI. The tournament business office is not expecting the cap to be matched, however anything can happen.

There are several requirements for all golfers wishing to participate. "To guarantee a spot, non-refundable deposit ($120) must be postmarked by December 28," said Davis.

In addition, all remaining balances must be postmarked by April 26. Each golfer is fully responsible to read and fully understand the "Rules of Engagement" which has been published. Distributing verbal invitations without our "Rules of Engagement" will not be an excuse in April. Lastly, please make sure your contact information inside the website is accurate."

Non-refundable $120 deposits will be traditionally mailed and traditionally written out to Rick Dosky. Golfers will be signed and checks will be processed online based on postmarked date. All credits will be displayed online in the finance section.

The 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship begins on June 7.
