Munksgard Scores 45

September 28, 2006

WARREN, PA — Jon Munksgard moved into a tie for 15th position in the Virtual Tournament after scoring 45 points at Blueberry Hill Golf Course. The all-important round was played with nephew Chet Munksgard of Warren, PA.

The 37-over par round comes just 10 days after U.S. Marshalls swarmed the area looking for America's Most Wanted "Bucky" Phillips.

Munksgard's round opened with a pair of bogeys. It also included a 5-point par on Hole 14. The round only included 5 triple bogeys.

"It was great," said Munksgard from the clubhouse tavern. "No eights or nines and just one 10 on the back nine is always going to produce a lot of points."

The stellar round is a personal best since October 2003 when he shot 102 strokes at Cave Creek while on vacation in Arizona.

"He played real well," said playing partner Chet Munksgard. "The point system is a great way to quietly remove huge numbers on the scorecard. You can really appreciate a 109 when you see Jon hit it."

In related news, Jason Watson continues to hold first position in the 2006 Virtual Tournament. Scott Zavinski remains in second position with the newly constructed Matt Davis in 3rd place.
