JACKSON, MI — Bill Dick, a 2-year member from Texas, has registered for the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship. Bill returns to the tournament after skipping the 2006 event due to surgery.

"It is great to be back," said Dick in a rare written statement. "I missed everyone and excited about my return."

Bill Dick needs to be excited about his golf game. The 76-year old member has struggled with a 61st finish at the 68-player tournament in 2005. He finished even worse in 2004 with 46th place with just 47 golfers.

"He is our front runner for the Crapper Award," said Captains Club member Jason Watson. "He has a lot of work to do in June, but we plan to work together and bring Texas the glory it deserves."

John Dick was the second Dick to sign and attends his 5th straight tournament. He once again will represent the state of Pennsylvania, where just one Golden Jacket resides. He is one of the most accomplished golfers currently playing in the tournament. He has a wealth of experience and finishing well year after year.

"Having John decide to join our program in 2003 was very exciting," said son Mike Davis. "He has an outstanding career at Blueberry Hill and feels like he can come into our program each year and immediately contribute to our success."

John holds the 2003 Horses Ass Award after taking his son's new golf towel into the woods off Hole 15 to release some tension.

The 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship opens its field to 18 players from 6 different states. Options and preferences have expanded this year and set to begin on March 8. Preferences will include roommates and foursomes.
