Consistency Concerns

February 7, 2007

JACKSON, MI — Matt Pritchard, Rick Dosky and Jeff Miller signed to play in the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship in late-December. They sign as the 30th, 31st and 32nd golfers and 11th, 12th and 13th players to represent Ohio.

"Some golfers are consistent," says Matt Pritchard. "I am not one of them. Either is Jeff or Rick. At least Rick has a jacket, which has silenced a few critics."

Some struggling golfers like Jeff Miller are fighting off a Mr. Inconsistent nickname. Pritchard added, "What else can you call big guy, who has posted scorecards in the triple digits and also below 80?"

Jeff Miller finished the 2006 Virtual Tournament in 23rd position. He is presently the 19th best golfer in the Spackler world. He boasts a 12.1 stroke handicap, which is pretty good for the Carl Spackler Open.

Rick Dosky returns with a Golden Jacket and 53rd position in last year's tournament. "I really played poorly last year," said Dosky from his home in Grove City, OH. "I do not let it get me down though. I just stare at my Golden Jacket every once in a while for a pick-me-up."

Matt Pritchard signs as the reigning Carl Spackler Crapper Award winner. "He sucks big time," said Jeff Miller in defense of his own game. "At least I can finish a round without a debacle."

Pritchard signs as the worst player in Spackler history. Bill Dick, Chris Hays, Jay Glover and Mike Watkeys are expected to steal the trophy away without stellar play in Michigan.

The 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship will be held at Grande Golf Club in Jackson, MI. Golfers from 9 different states. The field of players is expected between 60-64 golfers.
