Average Joe Seeks Gold

March 9, 2007

WARREN, PA — The Vice President of Cuisine, Tom McCauley announces today the signing of rookie Joe Muscaro with his national letter of intent to play golf at the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship. The new rookie should not be confused with Steve Mascaro of Warren, who attended in 2004-2005 and wore the Al Czverik Outfit in his rookie season.

Muscaro, a.k.a. Muskie, is expected to shine this June with his "Tiger-style" golden golf shirts. The new tradition will serve as a constant reminder of the goal and hopefully scare the weak.

"This will without doubt be the highlight of my long and illustrious golf career," said Joe Muscaro from his home in Warren, PA. "A golden jacket in my closet would be something to relish for decades."

Joe Muscaro will work on his game this spring at a fever pitch and hopefully eliminate the occasional hook that has plagued his golf game for years.

"Muskie sounds like your average Joe," said McCauley. "Hopefully he will help our program reach our ultimate goal, which is to achieve national attention. Jon Munksgard tells me his ball striking is second to none, but what does Munkgard know. He also told me his short game and new found mental approach has made him a legend at Jackson Valley."

Joe has not submitted a scorecard to date. This allows an unknown degree of hacking unaccounted for. Rookies are required to submit 3 scorecards by May 15 and 4 scorecards by June 1.

Joe Muscaro signs as the 43rd player overall. He is the 12th player to sign with plans to represent the state of Pennsylvania.
