HOUSTON TX — As the snow and ice begins to melt in the North and Midwest, Jackson Heights own Mr. Randy Watson has continued his stellar play deep in the heart of Texas. Watson's first three rounds of 2007 have all finished below 90. Randy realizes it will be difficult to defend his points title this year. "Once the points get reset for '07 I'll be better able to make a prediction for how I'll finish. It's not going to be easy to score the way I did last year." Watson credits the improvement in his game to his new home. "I can pretty much play year-round down here as opposed to up in Ohio; obviously the weather is a lot better."

Watson is looking forward to tournament action again in 2007. "With the Spackler tourney in June and GXI in September, I've got a lot to shoot for this summer and fall. I was really playing well going into GX and liked my chances there. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pull off the victory."

Look for an announcement in the next few weeks regarding the dates for Golfapalooza XI.
