BROOKLYN, MI — The Captains Club continues to release detailed information surrounding the 7th annual Carl Spackler Open Championship. Tom McCauley did the honors of announcing the second lakefront opportunity.

"We are very excited about the entertainment value at Jerry's Pub," said McCauley, Vice President of Golf Instruction. "Jerry's Pub is located on the shore of Whamplers Lake. It seats 180 guests including 60 outside on the deck overlooking the lake. There is a small outdoor tiki-bar on the deck, small marina for boating patrons and sand volleyball court on the beach."

McCauley added, "Jerry's has karaoke on Wednesday nights and live music Thursday-Saturday starting at 10:00PM. Big Bob and the Toe Tappers is scheduled for Thursday night."

Jerry's is located 10-minutes southeast from the selected hotel. A 4-seat taxi service is expected to provide round trip safe transportation for $20.

"We continue to provide safe transportation for our golfers at the highest priority," said McCauley. "It is a service many cannot live without."

A member of a local band loves Jerry's Pub. He says, "We mainly play at a wonderful roadhouse out in the Irish Hills called Jerry's Pub. It's is still going strong and is about my favorite bar in the world. The boats would pull up out in back on Wampler's Lake. On race weekends, sweat drips from the rafters, my microphone will wave back in forth in front of my face because the floor is shaking from the dancers."

Jerry's Pub provides a very large menu for dinner and converts their establishment into a local hotspot in the evenings.

The 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship begins in 26 days. The tournament field of 62 golfers is scheduled to arrive as early as Tuesday, June 5.
