Hagg Fires 128

June 4, 2007

RUSSELL, PA — Dan Hagg opened his 2007 Virtual Tournament with very little style on Sunday. The second year member fired a very high 56-over 128 strokes at Blueberry Hill on Friday.

Dan opened the first hole with a sextuple-bogey 10 at the first hole. "It was bad and got worse," said Hagg after his round. "I settled down with a pair of triple bogeys before heading south."

Hagg finished the round with 6 quadruple bogeys and 5 triple bogeys. The round was worth just 44 points.

"Back up the truck and load up the points," said Hagg. "I need all the points that I can get this week in Michigan."

In other news, the Jackson, MI area received 2.25 inches of rain over the weekend. The heavy rain did manage to scare foot and cart traffic off the golf course while allowing the golf course beef up its conditions.

Jay Glover and Kevin Long are expected to play in Pittsburgh today at The Madison Club. Jason Watson, Randon Mineweaser, Greg Long, and Jason Watson are expected to play this morning.

Matt Davis continues to lead the 2007 Virtual Tournament. Davis will play the 2nd best new course in America tommorrow morning just south of Cleveland, OH. Blue Herron, a 27-hole design, will also host 4 other players.
