Is It Hurricane Season?

ALPINE LAKE, WV — Rumors are afloat that former Most Valuable Loozer and current master of all things gambling, Pat "Hurricane" Boland's status as a particpant in GXI is questionable for undisclosed reasons.  "This would be like Tiger Woods not showing up for the Masters," said a bewildered GStan. "Well, not really, Tiger Woods; but at least Justin Leonard or Paul Goydos or even Dorf.  You know what I mean; someone you've heard of but never root for."

"There is some kind of conspiracy going on here," added fellow Founding Father Patch.  "People know what is going on, but those people are not talking."  Most of Loozer Nation seems dissappointed and uneasy about the possibility of a "G" without the 'Cane.  The concensus seems to be that no one is more fun to beat at the card table than Boland.  The Founding Fathers are scrambling to prepare for the worst case scenario of a Cane no show, ensuring all of Pat's "G" responsibilities are covered by an appropriate backup Loozer, including, Calcutta Cornhole auction, bookie for all stupid betting ideas, and talking smack.  More to come as this story develops.
