New Registration Process

November 21, 2011

CONKLIN, NY — The Captains Club announced the registration period for the 2012 Carl Spackler Open opens today. The period that will end January 31 requires each participant to register online plus submit a non-refundable non-transferable deposit of $120.00.

"Let's get it on," said Chris Milam. "It's time to stop talking about Spackler and get out the check books. Remember to read carefully and final payments must be mailed prior to April 15."

The tournament details are open to the public and available online at carlspackleropen.com. Golfers who are interested can visit the website, click "Register Now!", and follow the step-by-step directions. The registration process will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to consume.

The 12th annual golf tournament is scheduled to be played 2 miles from the Pennsylvania/New York border at Conklin Players Club. The tournament office is expecting between 70 and 90 golfers.

There are several requirements for all golfers wishing to participate. "The traditional registration document is gone," says Chairman of the Captains Club Greg Long. "It has been has been moved into the website as the new registration process. Golfers who are doubtful, questionable, and probable are encouraged to complete the registration process as many times as they wish."

Golfers who PRE-registered this summer and fall must register for the 2012 Carl Spackler Open.

Golfers WILL NOT BE LISTED on the 2012 Carl Spackler Open website until they have both registered online AND Rick Dosky has received payment. All golfers who register online will be listed in the 'Rumor Mill'.

Non-refundable non-transferable $120 deposits will be traditionally mailed and traditionally written out to Carl Spackler Open, Inc. Golfers will be added to the website as payments arrive. Payments will also be posted on the website in the finance section.

The 2012 Carl Spackler Open will be held June 6-9 at Conklin Players Club. The 4-day event will include a 54-hole golf tournament and practice round. There are roughly 200 days before the practice round.
