BINGHAMTON, NY — On behalf the Captains Club, Jon Munksgard and Randon Mineweaser continued to release details surrounding the 12th Major Championship scheduled for June in New York. Mineweaser gladly took the responsibility of releasing financials surrounding alcohol and general beverage at Conklin Players Club and Binghamton Riverwalk Hotel.

"Conklin Players Club beer will be once again cheapest in event history," said with a big smile. "The price per beer will be $2.00 and the same as the last 4 years." Conklin Players will provide thousands of beverages using beverage carts and clubhouse throughout the week.

"My two cases of beer remains under $100," said a delighted Mineweaser. "The beverage cart girls should be happy with our consumption."

Conklin Players will also provide lots of non-alcoholic beverages.

"The hotel (Binghamton Riverwalk) will also charge $2 for draft beers including Yuengling," says Munksgard. "This comes as little importance to me as Captain Morgan dictates my life." The hotel will sell draft beers in the hotel bar and at the awards presentation on Saturday.

"The cost of beer will increase sharply away from the hotel and golf course," says Mineweaser. "The details are still unknown, but downtown hotspots are expected to price beer at 50 to 100 percent higher."

The 2012 Carl Spackler Open registration period ended on January 31. The tournament signed 64 golfers before experiencing two cancellations in March. The event is expecting 64 golfers. Participant options are being collected this month. Outstanding balances must be postmarked by April 15, 2012.
