GROVE CITY, OH — You would never know that Rick Dosky shot 120, 130, and 133 at Tanglewood Park.  You would never see that from a player that placed tied for 23rd or a player that just loves freedom, friends, and the game of golf.

"I am not disappointed with my game," Dosky said. "I putted very well as the worst putter in Spackler History, and I drove it very good. But I hit too many shots into the sand, which was a shame."  Reportedly, Rick Dosky drove a particular ball 285 yards around the corner on the difficult Hole #5.

"The most difficult thing for me last week was not smoking.  Then probably the pin positions," he said. "The golf course ... I didn't find too long, but the pin positions were impossible in some places."

Dosky had plenty of support.

"He hung in there, and I hope both of us score better this season during the On Tour Championship," said 2002 On Tour Champion, Chris Lashley, who shot 91 on the final round to finish tied for 7th place.

When Dosky asked about his chances for the 2004 On Tour Championship.  He repied, "I'll take double-bogeys any way I can get them.  It's more a relief than happiness when you get 2 points. You never want to win that way, but that is just the way it is."
