DUBLIN, OH — Tom McCauley could not stop smiling as he stood on the 16th green Friday afternoon after tapping in his bogey, an impressive scene after hitting his ball out-of-bounds off the tee.  In some respects, a bogey on the toughest hole appeared to be more fulfilling than kicking Slick's ass.

"Without question, my most impressive hole of the year," McCauley said.  "A very, very tight 434 yard uphill Par 4 with a multi-tier green surrounded by bunkers.  My approach was outstanding and the shot of my season.  I call it my 2004 nightcap."

McCauley, the winner of the 2004 Closest to the Pin contest, wore his "Stuck it at Spackler" tee shirt in style on Friday.

The outcome had McCauley scoring 32 points and 97 strokes, although he played hard.  He played his final round of the season with Kyle Marti, Greg Long, and Brian Long at the Players Club just south of Columbus, OH.
