EBENSBURG, PA — Kevin Long, Sr. thought it was quite amazing when he aced the sixth hole at Jackson Valley several years ago. Then he hit a 51 on the front nine of Ebensburg Country Club and followed that up with a 65 on the back nine.  His 65 was setup with a 10 and 13 on holes 12 and 15.

"Odds against that is pretty high," said a disappointed Long.  "The first nine holes was not amazing, but acceptable. The later was disbelief."  Other people on the course heard the screaming and were coming over with their complaints.

Long actually finished with 116 strokes and a surprising 38 points.  Although high, Kevin fell to 18th place for the On Tour Championship scheduled to complete in 20 days.

"I'm very simpathic for him," said partner Jon Munksgard.  "My 136 was enough to keep it in perspective though."  Jim Campbell also played and shot an impressive 43 points setup by his 10 point birdie on Hole 13.

Jim English of Pennsylvania leads the Championship by 1/3 of a point over Glenn Hoffert of Virginia.  Mike Lewis, winner of the 2004 Spackler Casino Contest, is in 3rd place with 46 points per round.  Paulo McCluskey has fell recently to last place with 23.2 points per round.
