Marshall Law

January 10, 2005

GLEN ALLEN, VA — In nearby Glen Allen, VA, Marshall Law is exhibited at Crossings Country Club everyday.  Law that includes golf nearly twice a week and a signed contract to prohibit any woman from modifying golf schedules.

"Freedom to golf starts early," says Mike Herron. "You must be intelligent and learn from other golfer mistakes."  Mike is referring to the absence of golfers after they get involved with a women and the mistakes he made in his early 30's.

"Zavinski was smart from the beginning," says Herron.  "When he started golf and knew it was a passion, he made sure a contract was written. Then when women would come along, he made sure the contract was available when the word, "relationship" was discussed.  It was brillant."

Mike Herron, Scott Zavinski, and Joe Butkus are expected to set a Spackler one-season record of 45 rounds of golf.  Greg Long holds the record from 2003 including 2 major championships.

"You should have seen her face," says Zavinski about his first possible female companion.  "That first chick was one short meeting.  The second one signed and never saw it coming.  Thank god for carbon copies."

Zavinski has submitted 27 scorecards since Labor Day.  That is nothing compared to Joe Butkus with 29 scorecards.  "It really helps to have friends with wives working at the Crossings," says Butkus.  "That means all I need is time to play because my golfing buddies are already there."

The three players from Glen Allen, VA are all expected to make the drive north and attend their first majors.  They are also expected to submit 100 scorecards combined by November 30.

The 2005 On Tour Championship begins in 21 days.  A record-12 states are currently registered including Texas, Nevada, California, Georgia, and Oregon.
