SELLERSBURG, IN — A brand new Tom McCauley is expected to tee it up this season for the 2005 On Tour Championship. A McCauley that has regained his passion for the golf and lost his swing of gold.

"I have always enjoyed being in the hunt until this year," says McCauley. "But, this year is not starting off very well and I do not really care. My round last week was very poor and nearly reached the bottom for my career, but my feelings towards golf have nearly reached the top."

It's hard to argue with the logic of a legend. McCauley, the 2004 Closest to the Pin winner and manager of Fuzzy Zoeller's personal lawn, scored a dismal 16 points at Covered Bridge. He received 7 points for the golf course which proves his talent has indeed taken a back seat.

McCauley, who shot his 2nd worst non-major round of golf in 5 years, was extremely optimistic.  "I just want to play golf," says McCauley with a smile.  "I remember the days when I would kick Slick's ass", says an excited McCauley. "This is a good setting back home in Pennsylvania and I like my chances at my first Golden Jacket."

The 2005 On Tour Championship began on February 1.  Matt Munksgard leads the season-long tournament.
