BUFFALO, NY — The On Tour Championship is known for exhilarating amateur golf. Competitors from all around the United States are able to compete on a level playing field.  Men who have never met can grapple with one another in one of the purest sports in existence, golf.  We would all be remised though not to remember a greater benefit from participating in the On Tour Championship friendship.

As gladiators once did during battle in the Coliseum we do today.  We develop friendships, meaningful and lasting relationships between warriors hardened by the game of golf. Men, who after shedding their gruff armor, are able to expose their true nature to each other.  That kind of deep understanding and sharing of one another, only experienced in On Tour Championship play, is no greater exemplified than by Captains Club members Jason Dilks and Michael Trojanowski.

Both men are Warren, PA natives and have grown to adult hood together.  Both were students as the University of Pittsburgh.  Further, Dilks and Trojanowski were roommates during their undergraduate days at Pitt.  But only through On Tour Championship Play have they been able to become as close to each other as they are today.

Dilks was once quoted as saying, "One day on a golf course I noticed Mike had very meaty thighs and they were completely absent of hair.  I started to look at him differently since then."  Dilks went on to reveal that, "on another occasion during a hard round of golf, Mike soiled his pants after a particularly poor drive.  Mike was apologizing profusely for what he believed was a resultant heinous stench.  I told Mike, "I find your perfume exhilarating and that I think you complete me.""

Bravo gentlemen.  Your relationship is a beacon of excellence that all On Tour Championship participants should strive to achieve.  This beat reporter will hard pressed to reach such a pinnacle.  I will try though.  We all will try.
