WARREN, PA — There is nothing like the On Tour Championship in late-September.  Guys fighting over first position has encompassed September and October for years, but this year takes everything to another level.

Five players are inside 2 points per round of 1st place.  Amazingly 14 players are inside 4 points per round of 1st place.

"Things are very tight and I expect to make it tighter very soon," says Mike Davis, who has 7th position.  Davis is expected to make a small move upward during his next round.

"This is my tournament if New York does not get a blizzard before November," says 2005 Tournament Honoree Mike Trojanowski.  Mike will leap forward after his next posted scorecard and should win the tournament if he plays 4 more average rounds this fall.

Tom Fowble currently holds 1st position by 0.9 points per round over Ravinder Bakshi.  If Fowble plays again, he is expected to put some space between himself and Bakshi, but will spiral downward quickly if he decides to compete in two more rounds.  Fowble's 81 point round will fall off the leaderboard.

Jean Dore is in 6th position and realistically cannot complete for the prize.

The bets are on Nick Casale in 2005 as 3 average rounds of golf will put the tournament prize out of reach for others.  Casale will substitute 42 points for probably something in the higher 40's and even 50 points as he continues to shine this season.

The dark horse is Mark Wray.  The next submitted round could certaintly place him inside the Top 3.

The 2005 On Tour Championship completes in approximately 3 months.  The Red Zone Alert expires in 20 days.  The new Poststats.com website will begin Beta 1 on Friday night.
