1st Place Skid

GLEN ALLEN, VA — Scott Zavinski, the leader of the 2006 Virtual Tournament, has skid down 4 points per round after strokes per round rose over the past week.

Zavinski, a.k.a. Z, saw his strokes rise approximately 5 per round this past week. He posted several scorecards just under 100 strokes per round.

"Things are still in control," says Z. "I still lead this tournament by 6 points per round. Actually, it would be nice to see someone give me some competition."

Buddy Jeff Miller thinks the slow down might be attributed to negative effects from the Super Bowl. "Rumor has it... Scott spent Super Sunday basking in his first place spot on in the Virtual Tournament, dining on perogies, and talking golf trash to Richmond rivals Mike Herron and Joe Butkus."

Joe Butkus complimented Jeff with his comments. "He'll fall apart with the dreaded chicken wing." He further noted that," Scott has some extra time to play these days. I hope he takes the time to refine his wing."

Mike Herron had no comment.

Scott continues to hold first position with 39.5 points per round. Mike Herron continues to hold second position, but falls to 33.2 points per round.
