CFO Signs the Dotted Line

December 24, 2001

COLUMBUS, OH — Ideally, one of Ohio?s worst golf prospects, Rick Dosky, has signed a National Letter of Intent with his Captain?s Club, Jay Dilks announced yesterday.

Although Dosky is not that good at golf, he will be receiving the most NOOG points per hole in Spackler Open history.  This should give this 2nd year golfer a chance to win the coveted Golden Jacket.

Dosky shot 0.3 strokes better than the worst golfer on tour last summer, however Erin Walker will not be allowed to play in this most coveted major championship.  Dosky?s gem came in his last outing in August when he shot a 39-over par, 119.  Dosky?s rookie stock price is up $17, which cannot be taken lightly.  His $187 stock price was 7th best on tour and is 4th best for players allowed to attend this major.  Rick recorded a top 10 finish in the Spring Open and finished 17th in the recent Summer Open.

Dosky tried to downplay this play.  ?My 45 handicap isn?t as bad as it looks.  I have been getting better and playing tougher than average golf courses.  That?s why my stock and golf game continues to move in the positive direction.?  Dosky continued to appear positive.  ?There is a talented field forming this year; talent that has little room for improvement.  I really believe my room for improvement gives me an advantage that most players will not have.?

Dilks filed an official statement for the CFO of our organization.  ?Dosky has a tremendous future ahead of him as a student and a golfer here at the Open.  I did not see him play last summer, but it is easy to tell he?ll make a great member of our field. He has a pretty good swing and a lot of experience in big tournaments, which is a valuable commodity," Dilks continued. "His initiative as our CFO has already showed the strides he expects to make.  That is why a special exemption was granted this season to our Captain?s Club and his stock price will continue to soar.?
