VP of Entertainment Named

February 19, 2002

DUBLIN, OH — In its most recent attempt to organize the final details of this year?s event, the Carl Spackler Open?s Captain?s Club has appointed Mike Trojanowski as Vice President of Field Entertainment.  Jason Dilks, Captain?s Club member, was quoted, as ?This decision was the easiest one we?ve had to make yet.  I can?t honestly think of another guy that is going to ensure I have a good time more than Troj.?

Greg Long, Chairman of the Carl Spackler Open made this announcement at a 3PM press conference near his home in Dublin, OH.  ?Although Troj?s position is about having a good time, we are expecting him to work at it.  No other field member could provide the this year?s event with more dedication to the ?activities? unrelated to golf?, said Greg.  Matt Davis, VP of Kitchen Pass Allocation and founder of the PWRP as usual had to provide his two cents; ?I?ve known Mike for a long time.  He?s great at getting me smashed, filling me full of food and dropping me off at home with no money.?

Troj was unavailable for comment but released a faxed statement that explained, ?I didn?t want to waste time.  It took a lot of thought to plan bachelor party for my buddy Myers that almost stopped his wedding and I know I can do better for the 2002 Open?s field.?  He further commented, ?I can?t what to take these guys to places that things happen they can only talk about on their death beds.?
