PITTSBURGH, PA — CEO Jamie Myers announced Wednesday that Warren High School's Matt Davis has signed a national letter of intent to play golf at the 2003 Carl Spackler Open Championship in the summer of 2003 in Madison, Ohio.

As Founder and Owner of the P.W.R.P (Pokeys Whipped Rehabiliation Program), Pokey has a huge part in this year?s major championship. Pokey has been working to help all players achieve those sometimes impossible kitchen passes and help give back the freedom that the field is looking for.

As indicated on the site itinerary, the Round 1 tee-times will begin on Thursday at 12 noon. There are six tee-times for each round.

"We definitely are looking for additional players, but will require a complete foursome", said Matt Davis of the Captain's Club. Kitchen Passes are not easy to obtain, but I'm sure there is a few players out there." Any player can register for the Championship upon receipt of $120 or $330 by April 30.

Other tee-times include an early 8:00am Friday tee-time for Round 2 and 2pm Friday time for Round 3.  We have a late tee-time on Saturday to allow plenty of player time before the awards ceremony. The Reserve at Thunder Hill is also partnering with the Spackler Open on Saturday morning with the "Closest to the Pin" contest.  This contest will allow the field to register two golf balls and have the opportunity to knock one close. The Spackler Open will be different as the players will all commense to the tee box at the same time.

The Carl Spackler Open is scheduled for June 12-14, 2003 in Madison, Ohio. There is currently 24 players, which includes 11 new rookies.
