WINSTON-SALEM, NC — In the past year, over 80 amateur golfers have enjoyed some of "The Carl Spackler Open Championship Experience". This special group of golfers has evaluated their competitiveness against players from multiple states within the United States. Exposure to a scouting report represented interests that want to see how players measure up against their peers.

"Needless to say, it?s time to put up or shut up", said Brian Flanagan, winner of the Kitchen Pass Award. "It?s time to stop talking and start writing checks to the CFO." The postcard invites were mailed on Friday afternoon by our Business Office to the potential players within Carl?s select group of registered players. It is now time to see who is really interested in placing their name on the 2004 Championship Trophy.

Watson added, "Who will be allowed to become the next Cinderella story? Everyone has been talking about the major, but who will really be allowed?" The major will be hosted by Carl Spackler in Winston-Salem, NC starting on June 10, 2004. The course selection is Tanglewood Park and plays appropriate for this kind of major championship. The tournament entry fee is $120 and is due in 45 days or before January 2, 2004.  The total cost of the experience is $329.

Registered players, which have not played more than three rounds of golf will be required to enter the appropriate scorecards before they attend the major. Hevy Jo appears to be excited with his statements.  "I can hardly wait. Not only a weekend with Troj and Dilks, but a chance to be competitive and beat Pokey. I think even Myers and McCauley will be coming back this year."

The Village Inn and Conference Center will host the players for the weekend.  Each player will be paired up with another player in the field, however each room has two double beds.  The Conference Room has an onsite breakfast each morning complementary to the group of players.
