2003 Honoree Returns

January 3, 2004

COLUMBUS, OH — The Captains Club has announced the signing of the returning 2003 Honoree, Pat McElroy of Columbus, Ohio to a letter of intent for the 2004 Carl Spackler Open.  Pat is the 7th member to sign for the 54 hole golf tournament. He is also the 7th player from Ohio to sign.

"We are really proud to recruit such a quality young man as the McDaddy," Jamie Myers said. "He?s a very seasoned veteran of high calibre amateur golf and also golf league competition. Being part of such a great field should be a big asset coming in because we have very high goals at our major championship."

Myers continued, "We?ve been impressed with McDaddy's sound fundamental golf swing. He really puts his ass into the shot. In addition, he?s got a very good short game with a nice putting touch and his course management is also the best I've seen in years."

The 2004 Carl Spackler Open signing deadline was yesterday.  The Chief Financial Officer will process the mailed checks through Saturday and then begin to hold other checks for possible return.  The initial reservations will be made on Monday.
