WINSTON-SALEM, NC — The clock will not stop and the 4th annual Carl Spackler Open is less than 120 days from Round 1.  Jamie Myers, Jason Watson, Pat McElroy and Brian Flanagan are some of the players going after their first Golden Jacket and the Championship Trophy. They are players with a chance and are not about to miss a golden opportunity.

"This is the big one", said Flanagan. "There are not many major championships and this one has a field that is well respected. Dosky, Fowble, Watson, McElroy... I have been looking forward to this one for a while."

Rick Dosky is bringing a new swing to the tournament. "My new swing is so so. If good motions get in the hands of a good player, only good things will happen as a result. I expect great things, but only when practice time permits." Rick plans to practice this April and May in preparation for the big one.

The field of players consists of 44 players.  As players indicate their preferences, the Captains Club puts final touches on the tournament weekend.
