WINSTON-SALEM, NC — The clock will not stop and the 4th annual Carl Spackler Open is less than 51 days from Round 1. Kyle Marti, Jason Watson, Mike Certo and Chris Lashley are some of the players going after their first Golden Jacket and the Championship Trophy. They are players with a chance and are not about to miss a golden opportunity.

"This is the big one", said Lashley. "There are not many major championships and this one has a field that is well respected. Garrett, Creighton, Flanagan, McElroy... I have been looking forward to this one for a while."

Chris Lashley is bringing a new swing to the tournament. "My new swing is pretty good already. If good motions get in the hands of a good player, only good things will happen as a result. I expect great things." Chris has been practicing since March in preparation for the big one.

The Open Championship is scheduled to commence in Winston-Salem at Tanglewood Park. The tournament will consist of 54 holes with a field of 48 players.
