COLUMBUS, OH — Although, the 2006 Virtual Tournament does not begin for most of the 140 players within the Carl Spackler Open Community, the annual update of points for all players has been completed. All 140 players registered for Carl Spackler Open were updated today with several players making big moves upward and downward.

Matt Davis, Chris Lashley, Scott Miller, Rick Dosky, and Chad Long are five of the biggest positive movers on the point distribution. Jean Dore, Nick Casale, Mark Wray, Mike Trojanowski, and Nick Casale also moved, but downward in an attempt to level the playing field. The goal is to achieve a level playing field of 35 points per round of golf.

"An impressive Tom Fowble moves downward for the 3rd year in a row," says Brian Long. "That is a sure sign that Tom is improving at a fever pitch."

The Virtual Tournament official begins on January 2, 2006. The Championship is a year-long tournament using average points scored as each player enters his personal scorecards.

Matt Davis obtains 3 points for par for the first time in the 6 year history.  Rick Dosky scores 4 points for bogey and 7 points for par.

Ravinder Bakshi obtains only 1 point for par and 4 points for birdie as the most skilled golfer in the group.

Several rookie players that plan to attend the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship in June will be required to start entering scorecards almost immediately. "We're really excited to get the ball rolling," says Jay Dilks of the Captains Club. "Hopefully, all this freakin' snow will melt by that time," said Jay Dilks. "I hope an opportunity to get the cobwebs worked out before early April."
