A Golden Return

December 19, 2005

GROVE CITY, OH — After a few months off to unwind from his Carl Spackler victory, it's back to the business of defending Carl Spackler Open Championship Trophy for Rick Dosky.

"This is a big event and I'm ready to give my all to defend the title in June 2006, says Rick Dosky while proudly wearing his Golden Jacket."

Dosky played very well scoring double bogey after double bogey throughout Round 1 and Round 2. He started the final round in 3rd place and never looked back. When Garrett and McCauley let things slip, it was just Slick and me. I just was too good for him.

"Winning it was out of this world," Dosky said of the Championship. "It means so much to field of players and now I can relax with my jacket as a great memory."

Dosky has a third child on the way this winter, however that will not keep him away.

"I have my $324 from last year," says Dosky. "Sounds like an open and shut case to return."

The 2006 Carl Spackler Open is scheduled for Round 1 play on June 8, 2006. Dosky signs as the 8th player in the field. There are 5 players signed from Ohio.
