KATY, TX — The 2015 Carl Spackler Open date will move again. This time back two months to accommodate a Captains Club wedding that is expected to take must needed resources from the 14-year event. The projected date of the next event would be June 25-28, 2015.

"We have found a single set of dates that works with the Captains Club," says Chairman of the Captains Club Greg Long. "The late June date pushes all planning back months. A decision on the next event will occur this winter."

The event is expected to visit Tennessee or return to Ohio. The event last visited Ohio back in 2003. "Its certainly possible the event could be held outside of Tennessee and Ohio," added Long. "As of right now, we are collecting bids and evaluating our opportunities."

The event is evaluating all options including River Islands Golf Club in Kodak, TN, Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, TN, and Shaker Run Golf Club in Lebanon, OH.
