Plain. Not Simple

November 15, 2004

DUBLIN, OH — Forty-fifth place is not exactly where players like to be going into the final round of play.  For Matt Pritchard, this is a season of "would have's" and double bogeys.

Matt Pritchard played the Golf Club of Dublin for the 2nd week in a row on Sunday breaking 90 and shooting 38 points towards the On Tour Championship.  "I played a solid round except for Hole 12," said Pritchard.  "The easiest hole on the golf course was as a disaster."

Pritchard has actually been playing better golf since his first Open Championship in June.  He started in the low 30's and now is scoring the high 30's.  His round on Sunday was the first time he broke 90 this season.

"The Golf Club of Dublin suits players that are not long off the tee," says Pritchard.  "My game is plain, but not simple.  It demands focus each and every round to prevent shooting triple-digits."

The On Tour Championship completes in 15 days.  Nearly 60 players have joined the season long tournament.  Invitations to the 2005 Carl Spackler Open were mailed today.
