Webb

Best Player in Spackler History

The Webb Award rewards the player who is the best tournament finisher in Spackler History. Players that have played a full three tournaments are eligible for the award. Although Ty Webb was unable to perform under intense pressure, the inspiration for the Webb Award was his incredible play the rest of the time. Hence, neither Ty Webb, nor the winner of the Webb Award, has ever made it to the PGA Tour. The player who places the best in at least three tournaments wins the Webb. The determining factors for the award are the number of players in the field and the final standings for each tournament. The latest tournament is more important than prior tournaments. The award is a trophy box with a large swinging golfer on the top, signifying his excellence. The winner will have their name engraved, forever associating them with consistency and greatness, earned with relentless concentration on the sublime. Players hoping to win this award will need to remember Ty Webb?s favorite swing thought: ?A flute with no holes is not a flute...and; a doughnut with no hole is a danish.?
