LOS ANGELES, CA — Tim Davis continued to open his southern California golf season with average scoring rittled with fatigue. The very tall long ball hitter fell down the stretch at Los Angeles Country Club as he continues to battle with late-afternoon fatigue.

The 2007 Rookie of the Year scored 55 points last Thursday, but scored zero points on the last four holes.

"I continue to get weaker and weaker as I play," said Davis. "My tournament conditioning is a huge weakness. The club feels gets heavier and heavier and my mental focus falls off rapidly."

Tim carded a triple bogey at the 15th hole. He carded another triple bogey at the 16th hole. He finished his round with a pair of quadruple bogeys.

"He gave back 40 percent of his strokes in the final four holes," said buddy Matt Boland. "This is the definition falling apart."

The 34-over 107 was actually one stroke better than his last round.

"I have to play my socks off against guys like Butkus, Watson, and Herron," said Davis. "To beat Joe Butkus on a Texas course he knows pretty well does give me some satisfaction. To go head-to-head with the best players in the world is a very exciting format."

Butkus failed to score very well during his return trip to Houston, TX last week. Butkus scored 54, 49, and 52 points during his trip.

Jason Watson also played in Houston. He scored just 57 points at High Meadow Ranch. "Watson is a strong educated player with zero fatigue," says Davis. "He is beatable, but not when I continue to take zeros on the back nine."

The 2008 Virtual Tournament is expected to heat up starting April 1.
