The Carl Spackler Open has 3 sets of tees. The event has 36 Carl Spackler Open Tee markers, which are set at 6,450 yards. The event also has 36 Carl Spackler Open Senior Tee markers, which are set at 6,000 yards. A small group of Super Senior golfers qualify to play one tee in front of Carl Spackler Open senior Tee markers.

Qualifications for tee of play is available on the website under "Tee Analysis" page. Golfers can move back, but cannot move up without being qualified. Golfers can switch tee of play daily, but not during a round.

A golfer qualifies for tees based on age, club yardages, handicap, and yards posted during local play.
