COLUMBUS, OH — It's a holiday tradition like no other; Carl Spackler Open invitations are available.

The majority of the field for the 6th Major Championship will be set in less than two weeks. Invitations were extended to 133 players, although two members are not planning to compete, including Brian Flanagan and Andy Cohen.

"We are always disappointed when people think something is more important than Spackler," says Jamie Myers. "However, we really do not want unhappy guys or guys simply not allowed to attend."

A surprising low number of rookies are rumored to make their Spacker debut.

The final field will be determined on January 3. Players can still get in if demand for the tournament exists and the total field of players will be divisible by 4.

"We are ready to get exact tee times, a finalized budget, and rooms reserved," says Jamie Myers. "I am looking forward to a total count for this year."
