BADEN, PA — Eugene Faiella, a.k.a Eug, has signed to play in the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship in Clayton, NC.

Faiella, who placed tied for 45th place in the 2005 Virtual Tournament signs as the 2nd rookie and 13th player to represent the state of Pennsylvania.

"I am ready for a fight," says Faiella. "Robby Fustich says you either prepare for a fight or you wear the Outfits. I believe him."

Fustich does have plenty of experience in the fighting for his life. Rob narrowly escaped the Al Czverik and Carl Spackler Outfits in his only Spackler appearance.

"It is a dog fight out there," says Fustich. "I am getting Eugene prepared for the worst."

Faliella is the 2nd signing from the city of Pittsburgh.

"We are happy to have another rookie in the field," says Captains Club member Tom McCauley. "I heard a rumor that this guy might be our hazing target."

The 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship begins in 106 days.
