Rules of Engagement
March 20, 2006
CLAYTON, NC — With approximately $12,000 due to Rick Dosky in about 35 days, the business office would like to once again remind everyone the rules of surrounding your registration to the 2006 Carl Spackler Open Championship and penalties therein.
"Dosky is going to be a busy man next month," says member Jon Munksgard. "We would like everyone to be as excited about their remaining payment as they are about Creighton's party bus."
Munksgard has been designated as the group bouncer since the bill collections department was removed back in July 2005. His background includes a personal repo business where he gets in faces with a court order and takes property as if it were collateral.
"He got in my face last year," says Chad Long. "Jon had my Spaulding golf clubs and car radio before I realized he had mistaken me for brother Kev. Mr. Munksgard is not playing around. Trust me."
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:
The following rules are non-negotiable because our collections department was eliminated. Please do not take them personally regardless of relationship.
(1) All payments will be logged to the website and processed based on the postmarked date.
(2) Tournament will not discount for partial attendance. Please do not ask today or in May.
(3) Refunds due to weather are not guaranteed. We have a contract with bad weather provisions.
(4) Non-refundable deposits are still in order. Cancellations are not as simple as replacing someone. If you cancel, do not expect your deposit back regardless of relationship. You cannot and will not treat you any different. The money will be given to charity or will pay for your empty bed.
(5) We are not responsible for post office decisions or errors. Send early.
(6) All cancellations in May or June will increase the percentage of golfer loss by 3 percent per day starting May 1. For example, if you cancel on May 15, you lose the entire non-refundable deposit ($120) and 45% of the remaining tournament fee. The money is given to charity or pay for your empty bed.
(7) The full tourney fee will be required to register in 2007 for anyone that has a balance on May 1, 2006.
(8) Optional activities or services (scramble, practice round, transportation, etc.) are non-refundable in May or June 2006.
(9) Failure to comply with requirements or rookie requirements by dates indicated is subject to losses indicated above and removal from trip.
(10) Bounced check fees are approximately $25. This fee is your responsibility and will remain private.
All balances are due by April 26, 2006. That is postmarked by April 26. The tournament begins 36 days later.
