CLAYTON, NC — Players now only have 3 weeks or 22 days to send in their final payment, CFO Rick Dosky announced in his press release from the Spackler Business Office. "Prompt payments are critical now, as Rick will be sending the remaining lodging and course payments into the Neuse," added Greg Garrett.

As of April 5, approximately half of the fees were collected and three individual balances were covered. "I certainly hope that we don't have to go house-to-house again this year, because it puts us in a really bad mood," said Garrett. "At least late-payments will not be late next year." Personal checks must be postmarked by April 26 and made out to Rick Dosky.

"I really think that we are doing very well this year with all of the deadlines," said Chairman Greg Long. "I expect 95% collection by the deadline. About 3 or 4 percent better this year. Then deal with the 5% through Watkeys-like release or full payment to sign in January 2007."

Players interested in checking their balance can do so by going to www.carlspackleropen.com, then by clicking on "June 8th Trip" link and "Finances" link in the event submenu. Each golfers remaining balance is located in the Owe column.
