Tournament Player Meeting

April 21, 2006

CLAYTON, NC — A mandatory tournament player's meeting is scheduled for 9:15am just before Round 1 play under the pavilion at The Neuse Golf Club. The required meeting will take approximately 60-90 minutes and start exactly 10 minutes after the Party Bus arrives.

"Our meeting will cover many things," says Chairman Greg Long. "Please be on time or early." The meeting will start promptly at 9:15 regardless of attendance as the meeting runs right into the Zavinski 100, group picture, range time, and shotgun at 12:00PM.

"I like the meeting as I get my first glimpse of the Golden Jacket," says Matt Pritchard. "I also come away with full knowledge of the week ahead."

The meeting is a chance for players to get to know one-another, quick itinerary, contest and award explanations, gift disbursement, rule discussion, and player expectations. The daily pairing sheets for Round 1 are also expected to be distributed and explained at the meeting.

The Carl Spackler Open Championship will begin in 47 days. Reportedly, Brad Simon and Pat Boland ran into each other in a Atlanta Kmart trying to buying up the last pocket-size notebook for course notes. Everything appears to be ready for the 2006 major championship in the sweltering heat of North Carolina.
