CLAYTON, NC — The tournament notebook was released two weeks ago on the CarlSpacklerOpen.com website. The notebook has lots of general information regarding the 2006 major championship in June.

"The notebook is always being updated," says member Tom Fowble. "This has always been the general place to obtain notes about the tournament. I find lots of useful information in it. I am never officially packed until I cross off everything on the Do Not Forget list."

The notebook also provides expectations for the week in Raleigh. Golf, weather and contests are just some of the chapters available in the notebook.

In other news, there are 2 days left for final payments to be mailed. Golfers with remaining balances and no proactive communication are assumed to be withdrawing from the golf trip. Attendees with a late payment should assume the full tournament fee will be required to sign for the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship.

"We have eliminated our bill collections department and replaced it with simple rules," says Rick Dosky. "I am anticipating 90% of the payments to be made this week. Then deal with 1 or 2 guys that cannot follow directions."

There are 44 days left before Round 1.
