Tradition Hosts Tour Event

May 5, 2006

GLEN ALLEN, VA — The Tradition course at Crossings just north of Richmond, VA will hold its first tour event on Sunday. Kevin Long, Joe Butkus, Scott Zavinski, Mike Herron and Greg Long are a few names signed to play in the event.

The tour event kicks off with a deep bunker clinic with Joe Butkus around 11:00AM. Scott Zavinski picks up things at 11:12 AM with push chicken fade clinic. Scott will fully demonstrate how to properly use the chicken wing to push the ball right and gain even more yards on those dogleg right holes.

Mike Herron plans to step in around 11:40AM and explain the most common tournament pitfalls that lead into 30 percent increase in strokes.

"I am very excited about learning from Mike," says Zavinski. "A true Carl Spackler like Mike can surely provide some useful and take home information. I am looking forward to it."

Kevin Long plans to attend, but with a Depends undergarment. "This is a semi-private course," says Long. "Sharting should only be exposed on public courses."

Trent Cooper, Chris Hays, Jay Glover and hopefully Dave Nickles are scheduled to attend. The 2005 Kitchen Pass Award Winner, Casey Nelson of Richmond, is working on a kitchen pass.

The tour event is open to all golfers and hopefully the attendence level will soar.
